The interior design of the house by HAO Design Studio, combines simplicity and practicality to create an unconventional appearance. It makes a statement and it reveals the artistic interests of the owners, in addition to the love for their cats. The whole house appears to be devoted to photography, literature, music and cinematography. Additionally, it has special places for the cats so as to enhance their comfort.
There aren’t many pieces of furniture around as the owners appear to focus only on the essentials. From the shelves into the sofas and nearly everything in between, everything is quite slippery. The easy components make the house quite spacious. Plants and memorabilia serve as home decorations.
The kitty den is the biggest surprise of the home. Located near the dining room and close to the windows, it’s been created specially for the cats to have a place of their own. The enormous fluffy pillows serve them well during the day and increase the appeal of the classic industrial appearance of the home.
That cat entry which goes through the wall is an extremely creative trick. The arched door well matches the other wooden structures used for plants and images. It may not be a particularly intricate design, but it’s an innovative one that certain grabs the eye and showcases the attention to detail to make the home as comfy as possible for cats.
The home doesn’t feature any heavily adorned items in any respect. The plain shades of gray, pale brown and blue dominate the chambers, for example, cat den. There are many Ikea pieces throughout the home, which give it a Scandinavian touch. The open space kitchen remains loyal to the standards the most, because of the selection of things and their implementation inside the room. The bedroom offers little embellishment also, even if the bed and the carpet are distinct concerning colors than the other areas of the home.
there’s a little bit of everything in this home like the pipe lines which are part of the décor, doors which make us recall the Middle Ages, boxes resembling the classic telephone that obtained obsolete in today’s world just a few decades ago. The medieval-looking doors come compared with the rest of the inside, but they are a wonderful match for the simple brick walls.
Here and there you may see brightly colored items that stand out like the red seat, the intense blue backdrop of the shelves in the bedroom or the enormous black and white pillow. The pink chic dressing room is the only area that doesn’t adhere to the brick layout of the walls and goes for something traditional.
The large windows allow a whole lot of natural lighting to brighten up the rooms. However, there are also many light fixtures on the ceiling which provide light in most corners of the home, save for the bedroom which just includes two reading lamps.
This interior layout may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but it sure serves well for its artists and their cats. It’s remarkably straightforward and it surprises with its unusual details so it can be equally comfortable enough and interesting. It’s contemporary, stylish and chic, yet it’s these unusual touches. The cat house sure gives it a spin that’s especially praised by cat lovers.
