When it comes to deciding on various interior design components it always makes sense aesthetically to attempt to echo the present structural components of the house. Bearing this in mind, you’ll notice the charcoal sofa set compliments the gridded gun metal gray cabinets which unite the kitchen and the dining area.

The rough end of this couch set’s upholstery not merely hides dirt and is very durable, but it also serves to harmonize visually with the marble steps that lead to the open unpartitioned area that serves as the living area, kitchen, and dining room. In terms of the “coffee table”, this design element connects the ground floor to the top level in an ingenious manner–its cubic geometry matches the couch, its marble finish matches the surface of these measures, but its peachy colors are nearer on the colour scale to the unfinished wood of this Slats and beams in the ceiling and the floor boards.

And that’s not even the coolest thing about this “coffee table”. # & I8217;t used the “scare quotes” since you can see this isn’t your ordinary coffee table; rather than being one strong, four legged bit this coffee table is comprised of nine distinct cubes. This modular feature of the coffee table that the house owner can move the individual cubes around as needed–whether it be for additional seating in a dinner party, a side table to rest a beverage or book, or what have you.

The adjoining rooms break up the general color scheme with bright throw rugs and brightly colored traditional Ukranian motifs on the tiles.

Overall, this project is minimalist and modern yet still keeps a sense of playfulness and fun. Too much of today’s interior layout is too stark and austere. Yes, less is more, but does everything have to be so serious all the time?
