The little beach retreat has the art of inspiring dreams and sea dreams with soul Robinson boosting its general nautical ambiance. The area presents elegance and class with its pristine white beauty amidst idyllic views, yet remains a practical and functional home that’s comfortable where you settle into. Who’d have known that it was a cottage in pretty poor condition that it didn’t even have a bathroom in the first place? Architects Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet are responsible for enormous undertaking of a dramatic transformation into a pleasing interior space with all modern amenities while maximizing the space and quantity.
Now, three rooms each measuring 10 square-meters and a patio with a three square-meter area defines this home that belongs to an artist. The color, accents, decors, fabrics, furniture, and everything else complements the whole theme down to the last detail. White is notable throughout the cottage, and has been carefully selected by the designers to the whiteness enriches natural lighting and blends perfectly with character’s colours enveloping the breathtaking shore.
All windows framed in white look as though they are works of art, similar to paintings hung on the wall as opposed to that normal portion of a house. It open up not to an outside view, but to breathe in the sea soul and enjoy its magnificence! From the patio, a piano is built within the walls, where ornate trinkets and figurines decorate the top area, even though a bunch of blossoms give life to the atmosphere. The kitchen displays class like no other with brass sink and cooker parts, even the cutlery, fitting the lovely white cabinets, cabinets, counters and drawers laden with Carra marble. Custom made beds lie in the bedrooms, where a vessel wall stands out in the next one.
Exquisite materials are used with every corner and nook paid attention to. Marine lacquered wood includes the interior liner, although other craftsmanship includes custom made carpentry coming in stained pine, brass fittings, lamps, antique mirrors, hanging chairs, cotton fabrics in the rooms and dorms. Every piece was especially designed to be put to great use and function as storage locations. The stairs are integrated with drawers while the stage set on the next bedroom is truly a mini dressing room also. The roof of this house has turned into a relaxing place with a nice and comfy intricate swing to sit.
