Chris Dyson turned into a Shoreditch warehouse to make a family home. The proposal included the elimination of a modern drop to the rear along with a reinstatement of the courtyard in the back of the house to bring natural light to the bedroom and en-suite.
To bring light deeper into the ground floor study room an present lantern roof-light has been replaced, and the present glass lantern was replaced with a walk-on glass roof-light fitted flush to adjoining finishes. The windows into the living area were replaced with large structure factory style door with perforate mesh steps on the patio. Inclined translucent panels installed under this bring light even deeper in the strategy.
A new wood privacy screen was introduced to protect noise and views to neighbouring properties.
